Nomination Process

Thank you for your interest in our program. The Pacific Leadership Fellows Program offers one to ten week fellowships for senior and rising leaders from throughout the world, especially from Asia and Latin America, in government, nonprofit organizations, business, scientific institutions, and for journalists or scholars specializing in public policy. During residency, fellows are expected to participate in various teaching and speaking activities. Fellows will receive support including an honorarium, living expenses, and business class airfare. The goal of the program is to acquaint our scholars, students, and the surrounding community with individuals with a significant influence on the future of the Pacific. When appropriate, fellows may be co-appointed with other UC San Diego schools such as engineering, management, and medicine.

In order to apply, please send your most recent CV and a personal essay explaining how your work addresses a major challenge or opportunity for the Pacific region. Please send via email or by post:
