Pacific Leadership Fellow Ryozo Hayashi, a consulting fellow at Japan's Research Institute of Economy, Trade and Industry, will draw on his experience in Japanese business and government as he discusses past and current challenges with Richard Helmstetter, who spent several years heading Callaway Golf's operations in Japan. Before his work with Callaway, Helmstetter founded and headed the Japan-based business Adam Ltd. Helmstetter will address his past work, and Hayashi will focus on what has changed and how the changes offer both challenges and opportunities.

Takeo Hoshi, professor of economics and current IR/PS Acting Dean, will moderate the panel.
